FAQ
- Q: Who is .zel.org?
A: zel.org is a privately held, non-profit organization.
The purpose of this organization
is to do something creative to advance the science
of computer programming;
not for money, but for enjoyment, like
Albinoni did in music, Ricardo in
economics, and Croce in philosophy.
- Q: Is it possible to get a job at .zel.org?
A: If you want to join the .zel.org organization, fine!
There is no president, no general secretary, no membership fees, no meetings, no salaries, no employees' benefits,
no office, just nothing -- not even unions are involved.
- Q: Could I join .zel.org?
A: As soon as you think you belong to .zel.org,
then you belong to .zel.org.
You will not be rewarded nor punished by saying, writing,
or doing something unusual in one way or another, because there are neither rules nor regulations
that you must observe as a consequence of belonging
to .zel.org.
If you've got a better answer for this question, please let me
(gd@zel.org) know.
- Q: Where .zel.org located?
A: In the middle of the mountains,
in a region called Ublantis.

in early November; the summits are already covered with snow.
There is this only unbelievable, solid blue sky
and a slow internet connection at the time of writing, still provided
by a state-controlled monopoly),
which is the only infrastructure
-- except for the 60,000 holes in many twisty,
little roads (constructed and maintained
by ... -- you guessed it) in a desperate attempt
to keep the tourists out of Ublantis.
